At its board of directors’ meeting held in Washington, DC November 5 and 6, ATIS announced the results of its election for its board of directors’ officers and TOPS Council chair as well as Class C board representatives. ATIS’ Board brings together executives from the leading information and communications technology (ICT) companies to set the organization’s strategic, technical, and operational direction.
We are pleased to announce the following board officers:
- Chair – Yigal Elbaz, Network Chief Technology Officer, AT&T
- First Vice Chair – Nicolas Fetchko, VP for Technology and Trade Policy, Verizon
- Treasurer – Joe Hanley, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, TDS Telecommunications LLC
- Secretary – Jerome Birot, Vice President, Voice & Collaboration Services, DevOps, TELUS
In addition, we are pleased to welcome Sridhar Ramachandran, Senior VP and Chief Technology Officer, Somos, Inc. as the newly elected chair of the ATIS TOPS Council.
Each of these positions will serve two-year terms, beginning on January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2027.

Also, at its annual meeting the following Class C representatives were selected to serve two-year terms, beginning January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2027: Lisa Marie Maxson – Chief Executive Officer, 10x People; David Casem – Chief Executive Officer, Telnyx; and Sridhar Ramachandran – Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Somos, Inc.
Further, the following Class C representative has been selected to serve a one-year term, beginning January 1, 2026, and ending on December 31, 2026: Gilberto Brizzi - Chief Technology Officer, MNO Partnerships, JMA Wireless.
