AIDC: Automatic Identification & Data Capture Committee
- Issue: 0041
- Title: Review Structure for Serialization of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Network Infrastructure Equipment (ATIS-0300078)
- Statement: Administrative changes were needed to reflect a corporate name change (Telcordia to iconectiv) as well as other minor editorial changes for clarity.
- Resolution: Updated all instances of Telcordia to iconectiv and made other minor editorial changes for administrative clarity in ATIS-0300078, Serialization Guideline for Telecommunications Network Infrastructure Equipment.
- Status: Final Closure

PTSC: Packet Technologies and Systems Committee
- Issue: 0172
- Title: Revision of ATIS-1000102, Invocation/Revocation of the National Security / Emergency Preparedness (NSEP) Data Transport Service for the Evolved Packet System (EPS)
- Statement: Current material in ATIS-1000102 is based on 3GPP Release 17 specifications. In 3GPP Release 18, the 3GPP protocol specifications for the Rx interface have been extended to allow the DTS Server to explicitly indicate to the PCRF that authorization for the NS/EP Data Transport Service is required in conjunction with procedures used to establish priority AF signaling. This provides a more straightforward and future-proof way in which the DTS Server can explicitly signal that authorization for the NS/EP Data Transport Service is required for this functionality, thereby providing an improved mechanism that may be chosen for 3GPP Release 18 deployments of the NS/EP Data Transport Service.

- Title: Revision of ATIS-1000103, Invocation/Revocation of the National Security / Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) Data Transport Service for the 5G System (5GS)
- Statement: Current material in ATIS-1000103 is based on 3GPP Release 17 specifications. In 3GPP Release 18, the 3GPP protocol specifications for the N5 interface have been extended to allow the DTS Server to explicitly indicate to the PCF that authorization for the NS/EP Data Transport Service is required in conjunction with procedures used to establish priority AF signaling. This provides a more straightforward and future-proof way in which the DTS Server can explicitly signal that authorization for the NS/EP Data Transport Service is required for this functionality, thereby providing an improved mechanism that may be chosen for 3GPP Release 18 deployments of the Data Transport Service.

STEP: Sustainability in Telecom: Energy and Protection Committee
- Issue: 0209
- Title: Equipment Level Direct Contact Cooling Standard
- Statement: Develop a set of requirements that can be used as a standard for liquid cooling systems. A liquid cooling system is a technique used to keep a computer processor's temperature low using water as the cooling medium. This liquid cooling mechanism provides efficient cooling at the equipment shelf level. Additionally, testing parameters and methods for product review utilizing direct contact cooling. Direct contact cooling is becoming an option on production products and telecommunication customers need verification of Level 1 and Level 3 (safety and reliability) compliance of the products.

- Title: Fire Resistance Concerns for Small Lithium-Ion Batteries
- Statement: Equipment deployed in communications networks increasingly make use of Lithium-Ion batteries installed on the board level. Lithium Ion battery chemistry poses a unique flammability hazard. Previously, onboard Lithium Ion batteries were often small button style batteries, they are evolving to multi-cell stacks off the board, but within the enclosure of the unit. They still present a potential fire hazard. Currently, the ATIS Firespread standard, ATIS- 0600319.2020, Equipment Assemblies Fire Propagation Risk Assessment Criteria , does not address Lithium Ion batteries. The current ATIS component flammability standard, 0600307.2018(R2023), Fire Resistance Criteria - Ignitability Requirements for Equipment Assemblies, and Fire Spread Requirements for Wire and Cable addresses dedicated battery systems, but does not address smaller, board-level batteries. Because of their common use, and significant flammability risk, there is an industry need for consistent, specific criteria and test methods to address board level Lithium Ion batteries.

Definitions
- New Issue: Business, operational, or technical needs that a committee has reached consensus to address.
- Issue in Initial Closure: Issues for which a committee has reached consensus on a proposed resolution. The industry has a 21 calendar day period to review and comment on the consensus resolution developed by the committee. The committee's consensus resolution concludes its work on an issue unless new or substantive information is brought forth. During the 21 day review period, comments on a consensus resolution may be provided to the committee contact and committee leaders.
- Issue in Initial Pending: Issues previously in Initial Closure for which new and substantive information impacting the consensus resolution has been received. An issue may also be in Initial Pending if output that may impact the consensus resolution is expected from another industry group, regulatory body or similar organization.
- Issue in Final Closure: Issues for which work is completed and the resolution accepted by the industry.
