Satellite-Terrestrial SCS Exclusion/Coordination Zones
This group plans to Define SCS Exclusion and Coordination Zones optimized for SCS, and to help enable compliance with SCS single network framework interference mitigation and Site Shielding Orders, by addressing a scheduling framework to mitigate interference, coordinate the usage of terrestrial and non-terrestrial spectrums and reduce light pollution.
Satellite iAB Pop-Up Cells
This group will look at optimizing provisioning of satellite-based iAB-Nodes for pop-up Cells, to enable cell service far away from a data center ground station, without using a physical Base Station. Satellite-based iAB Nodes can be configured as a mobile iAB Node to provide both access and backhaul.
Satellite Feeder Link Optimization
Feeder Link throughout has direct affect on the throughput that a satellite can deliver to the cells. In many scenarios the Bandwidth of the Feeder Link is not used efficiently, particularly for narrow Feeder Link Bandwidths. To obtain the maximum throughput for the Feeder Links, the transport mechanism of the Feeder Links must be enhanced and made more efficient.

Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Entity List Confirmation
(a) it is not included on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Entity List, subject to other U.S. export control laws, Executive Orders, rules or regulations (collectively “U.S. Export Regulations”) that restrict its receipt of or access to information, data, or technology (collectively “Information”) that is of the sort that is disclosed, exchanged, or transferred in the ordinary course of ATIS activities, and at the time of this application is not in violation of any U.S. Export Regulations that restrict its receipt or transfer of Information; and (b) will immediately notify ATIS if the foregoing confirmation becomes in any way inaccurate once participation in an NTN Subgroup begins. It is understood that a failure to provide the foregoing confirmation will cause rejection of Applicant’s request to participate in an NTN Subgroup, and a failure to provide the required notification once a year will result in suspension of Applicant’s participation in the NTN Subgroup.
