Making Smart Cities Smarter: The millions of bits of data collected by Smart Cities technology can be used to improve city services and support decisions on the best use of tax dollars. How can cities maximize the return on investment on their Smart Cities technology? Secure and strategic sharing is key. Yet the capability to do this is not currently an integral part of many cities’ data platforms. That’s why the ATIS has developed a Smart Cities Data Sharing Framework. The goal is to assist cities in providing secure data management solutions and making smart city infrastructure more sustainable.
