Telecom APIs present significant promise for monetization, but operators face challenges in fully capitalizing on their potential. Although industry discussions around API standardization are ongoing, a focused study is needed to explore how operators can effectively leverage APIs to drive new revenue streams and enhance service composition. This group will assess API granularity, consent frameworks, and aggregator strategies, while also addressing net neutrality and compliance challenges specific to North America. The findings will provide strategic recommendations to help operators maximize monetization and optimize industry engagement through effective API utilization.
